1. Who controls your data
Whispers Egypt Travel, Luxor, Egypt, is the controller of the personal data collected through whispersegypt.com. You can reach us at info@whispersegypt.com.
2. What we collect
- Booking data: name, email, phone, country, travel dates, group composition and any notes you send us.
- Payment data: handled by our payment provider. We never store full card numbers on this site.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through server logs and analytics.
- Messages: the content of emails, contact forms and WhatsApp conversations with us.
3. Why we use it
- To answer your request and prepare a quotation.
- To deliver the tour you booked, including pickups, permits and entrance tickets.
- To take payment and keep accounting records required by Egyptian law.
- To improve the website and understand which tours people look for.
4. Legal basis
We process booking data to perform the contract you asked us for, technical data on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure website, and marketing data only with your consent.
5. Who we share it with
Only where needed to deliver your trip: hotels, licensed drivers, site authorities for permits, and our payment provider. We do not sell personal data to anyone.
6. How long we keep it
Booking records are kept for seven years to satisfy Egyptian tax and tourism regulations. Marketing consent records are kept until you withdraw them. Contact messages that do not become bookings are deleted after 24 months.
7. Cookies
This site uses essential cookies to keep the booking process working, and analytics cookies to measure traffic. You can block cookies in your browser; essential cookies are required for the booking form to function.
8. Your rights
You may ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw marketing consent at any time by writing to info@whispersegypt.com. We answer within 30 days.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to booking records is limited to staff who need it to run your trip.
