Hot Air Balloon Ride In Luxor

Your representative will pick you up from your Luxor hotel or cruise ship before dawn. You will be transferred to the Nile River to cross to the West Bank by motorboat, enjoying a quick cup of Egyptian tea or coffee on the way.

Arrive at the balloon launch site just as the crews are inflating the massive, colorful balloons. Your experienced, licensed pilot will provide a comprehensive safety briefing and explain the flight procedures.

 Gently lift off just as the sun begins to peek over the horizon. The flight path depends entirely on the morning winds, but you will typically float over local villages, sugar cane fields, and the spectacular pharaonic temples and tombs carved into the Theban mountains.

After a smooth landing, you will celebrate with your pilot and crew, receive your flight certificate, and be transferred directly back to your hotel or cruise ship in time for breakfast.
