Day 1: Luxor East Bank
Upon arrival at Luxor Airport, you will be met by our guides and transferred in comfortable air-conditioned private car. You will board your 5-star Nile cruise at exactly 12:00 noon to begin your 5-day Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan, which will be one of the most beautiful days you will ever experience.
In the afternoon, we will visit the East Bank of Luxor, which contains many ancient monuments and temples, including the Karnak Temple, the largest temple built by man in history. Then you will see the main building dedicated to the god Amun-Ra, which was considered his home on earth. Afterwards, we will head to visit the Luxor Temple, which was located in the heart of the ancient city of Thebes. After completing your tour, you will be transferred to the cruise for rest and relaxation. Afterwards, dinner will be served and you will stay in Luxor to continue your Nile river cruise.
Day 02: Luxor West Bank – Sail to Edfu & ON
On the second day of the Nile river cruise, you will have breakfast on board the ship, then your tour will start by exploring the West Bank of Luxor, including the Valley of the Kings, which is the tomb of the ancient Theban kings. Then we will head to visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut in Deir el-Bahari, which is considered one of the most wonderful examples of ancient Egyptian architecture. Then we will head to the ship for lunch, and in the afternoon there will be a free tour to enjoy your time in the Luxor markets, and finally dinner and overnight on board the ship to complete the Nile river cruise
Day 03: Edfu – Kom Ombo – Sail to Aswan & ON
On the morning of the third day of your Nile river cruise, you will have breakfast on board, your guide will tell you how the day will go and your tour will start with a visit to one of the most magnificent temples in Egypt, the Temple of Horus in Edfu, which is considered one of the best preserved temples in Egypt, after that you will return to the ship.
Lunch will be served while sailing to the city of Kom Ombo, in the afternoon, tea will be served, then you will continue to explore the Temple of Kom Ombo where the gods Sobek and Horus were worshipped, after that you will have a free tour and then return to the ship to enjoy the breathtaking view of the Nile River where you can see the unique landscape of the Nile River, after that dinner will be served on board while sailing to the city of Aswan, arrival late in the evening and overnight in Aswan. Day 04: Aswan Tours – Aswan ON
On the fourth morning of your Nile river cruise, breakfast will be served on board, after which your tour guide will take you to discover the great city of Aswan, including the High Dam built by Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser. Afterwards, you will enjoy a Nile boat ride to reach Agilika Island. Then, you will visit the Philae Temple, one of the temples which were relocated after the building of the high dam. Finally, you will be taken to visit one of Aswan’s most magnificent landmarks, the Unfinished Obelisk, which is made of red granite. After your tour, you will return to the ship. Lunch will be served on board. At night, there will be Egyptian folklore shows and a concert with Egyptian songs, then, dinner and overnight in Aswan.
Day 5: Optional Abu Simbel Tour – Departure Flight to Cairo
On the fifth day of your Nile cruise, you will have breakfast on board and then disembark for an optional excursion to visit the temples of Abu Simbel. The massive temple of Abu Simbel was built by Ramses II and then visit a smaller temple dedicated to Queen Nefertari, the king’s wife, and dedicated to the goddess Hathor. After the tour, return to Aswan. Transfer to the airport for your flight back to Cairo.
